‘DSE mobile’ by December 2015

DSE-Sept 620130905203930Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) would introduce a trading terminal named ‘DSE Mobile’ by December this year.

The DSE is going to introduce the terminal to enable the investors to conduct share trading and get market related information through Mobile Apps.

DSE Managing Director Dr Swapan Kumar Bala disclosed this at a press briefing in the city Monday.

At the press briefing, the DSE managing director also spoke about some long-term development projects to be implemented with the support of international technology partner Nasdaq.

“The DSE has already developed a trading terminal named ‘DSE Mobile’. After introduction of mobile trading service, the investors will get information of their portfolios and capital market as well through Mobile Apps,” Mr Bala said.

He said the top bosses of Nasdaq are now in Bangladesh to discuss as to how the market can be diversified by introducing Clearing Corporation, exchange traded fund (ETF), separate board for small cap companies and financial literacy service.

“Online payment system will also be started soon to reduce investors’ hassles as part of DSE’s move to diversify the capital market. The investors will also get more company related information from DSE website soon,” Mr Bala continued.

Among others, DSE Director Md Ruhul Amin and Chief Regulatory Officer Ziaul Hasan Khan were present at the press briefing.
